The FSx team is going through some changes. Some of the sponsors for the Fischer/Swix team will be different for the 2007-2008 season due to the fact that Fischer is producing a race pole this year. The team will be Fischer/Craft now and there will be a new site launched by Craft (hopefully soon). Until then, some of last years FSx athletes have new web sites for updates:

Training today on the Birkie Trail wasn't too bad.  They make their ski trails pretty wide out here in the Mid West.  5 wide!

Well just finished up three solid weeks of racing here in the Mid West. Have to say all of the events we have been to were great.  The race organizers for this leg of the SuperTour have done a pretty remarkable job hosting a great series of races.  Too bad it is looking like the City of Lakes Loppet is going to be canceled, but honestly I am about due for a weekend off.

The post nationals leg of the SuperTour has been real up and down for me.  Literally up and down.  The majority of the races I have been tripping myself up and finding myself face down in the snow.  Not really sure why I have been falling so much, except I h ...

Sunrise before the last race

Finally i got a break.  The 15+15km pursuit was the first time of the week that I felt like I was racing fast. I didn't feel any different in the morning but by the time the gun went off I knew the something had changed.  I was skiing much better. I felt good from the start, something that had not happend all week. Better late than never.

Kris took a early lead,  but I was able to hang with the chase group.  By the tme we got to the transition zone I was skiing on my own but holding 9th place, right ahead of Carl Swenson. It didn't take long for him to reel me in during the skate leg but I was able to hang on him for a little while.  By the end of the race I lost a few mo ... Read More »
