The FSx team is going through some changes. Some of the sponsors for the Fischer/Swix team will be different for the 2007-2008 season due to the fact that Fischer is producing a race pole this year. The team will be Fischer/Craft now and there will be a new site launched by Craft (hopefully soon). Until then, some of last years FSx athletes have new web sites for updates:

 Co Rod's Updates

Sending out a little happy holidays hello from the UP. I made it in to Houghton last night and was able to get out on the ski trails earlier this morning. The skiing is remarkably good considering the base is pretty thin. The good ol’ boys were out in full force with the dump trucks rolling through the local farm fields and picking up what ever snow was to be found and hauling it out onto the courses. These folks up here from Michigan Tech are definitely going to make it happen so bring your game face and be ready to throw down. As I write it is snowing outside (not that hard but it is snowing). Even an inch or two will go a long ways to make the skiing perfect. Hope everyone had a good Christmas and we will see you when you get here. If you are not coming be sure to keep checking back as the team is getting into the swing of updating the site on a more regular basis. Later-Colin
PS You can also check the webcams from the ski stadium at seniornationals.org. We will get some pics up soon.

Happy Holidays all. I hope everyone has been in better health than I, with more snow than here. There is absolutely nothing frozen in the Berkshires. We have been getting quite a bit of rain though, so at least the grass is green. I made a trip up to East Burke, Vermont to visit Matt’s swamp and newly built cabin. After stoking the fire for 5 hours while he and Dad framed the door, I caught a wicked cold. I have taken 5 days off and am planning an easy run tomorrow with some maintenance strength. Other than a whole lot of coughing and not training, Matt gave Jake (our younger brother) a remote control airplane. The remote doesn’t actually seem to control the plane at all, and I think it has only flown as far as they have thrown it. After four broken propellers and about 2 hours, the poor little guy is now laying alongside the other various remote-control gifts that have been given, played with and broken over the years. I hope everyone is fire up for Houghton! Until then… Read More »

I am back! Sorry about the glitch (a.k.a. Me, temporarily deleting myself from the team). Worthington, MA, home of my parents and their 6 year-old computer! I am not promising that I have learned anything about computers since I last updated (in August) so humor me. Read More »
